ABOUT THEY IMPROV

THEY improv began around 2004 as a group performing for charities and serving our communities. We raised tens of thousands of dollars for a series of great organizations that looked out for the well being of those who were not able to help themselves. This website represents an expansion to serve our Fortune 500 Clients with Team Building services and consulting throughout the Islands of the Caribbean.


THEY improv began with Todd Rice, our Director. Todd had worked a variety of jobs in the business world including having been employed by the FAA through Martin-Marietta Air Traffic Systems, by the Speaker of the House of Representatives, worked on the floor of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, for a hedge fund in Chicago, and was the CEO of a smaller technology company. All the while he trained and performed at The Second City, Improv Olympic and many other prominent theaters.

why comedy

WHY COMEDY
Our Director found that when people laugh, they become more open to new ideas and more likely to take lessons to heart. This made a company engaged in comedy the perfect vehicle to help everything from small organizations to members of the Fortune 500.


Over the years, our Director made contacts with great performers all over the United States and started bringing some of the best performers together to help raise money for charities, calling the shows Comedy With a Cause. These shows started getting larger and companies started taking an interest.


While initially focused in South Florida, the group has expanded and calls upon actors all over the world. Very quickly, THEY improv provided their services for companies in all 50 US states, DC and Puerto Rico as well as in Canada, Mexico, the Bahamas and Europe. Now we bring these services to our American and European clients that also have operations in the Caribbean. While we are based in the US, we know local performers in many countries and our clients tend to want our services wherever they are. As such, we consult with them for their events in the US while contracting local performers wherever the event might be, including throughout the Caribbean. Or, we can bring American talent to serve events locally where the local talent hasn't been trained for particular kinds of events helping to grow the local performers abilities. And, of course, there is always the prospect of working virtually.

We Travel To You!
THEY improv can provide a variety of entertainment and team building options in hotels, resorts and on cruises by coordinating with local staff throughout the major urban centers of the Caribbean including in the American territories of Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands, the British territories of Anguila, the British Virgin Islands, the Cayman Islands, Montserrat, and the Turks and Caicos, the French territories of Guadeloupe, Martinique, St. Barts, and the Collectivity of Saint Martin, the Netherlands territories of Aruba, Curaçao, Sint Marteen and The Caribbean Netherlands, and the nations of the Bahamas, Bermuda, Cuba, Jamaica, Mexico, Panama, and South Florida. We travel by any means necessary, though usually by plane if from off the island.

We can now consult for companies throughout the Caribbean, though there may be some legal hurdles in some locations that are not that difficult to surmount. Hiring THEY improv allows the best that the US has to offer for American companies traveling to the Caribbean for their meetings.


THEY improv has worked for over half of the Fortune 500 in the U.S. and seeks to serve their clients wherever they might go. This means having people and relationships to serve clients throughout the Caribbean.
